BarbicanPower cannot restore supply during a power cut or attend site in an emergency. For urgent safety issues, contact the relevant emergency service below.

  • If you have a loss of supply or an electrical emergency, contact your local electricity network operator.

    Call 105 to be connected to the operator for your area.

    105 is a free service from most landlines and mobile phones in England, Scotland and Wales.

    You may also be able to report a power cut online via your network operator.

  • Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800111999 immediately if you

    • Smell gas

    • Suspect a gas leak

    • Are concerned about carbon monoxide fumes

    The National Gas Emergency Service is available 24 hours a day and is free to call.

    What to do

    Do

    • Open doors and windows by hand to ventilate the area

    • Extinguish naked flames

    Do not

    • Operate electrical switches or appliances

    • Smoke, use matches, or create sparks

    • Use your gas hob or any other gas appliance

    If anyone feels unwell or you suspect carbon monoxide exposure, move to fresh air and call 999.

  • If you are a domestic customer, your network operator can advise on support available during an outage or emergency.
